Do small GA planes ever land on runway 08 and 26 in real life at CYVR?

Hi.  In VATSIM, I think takeoffs over the last week usually happen on 08R.  I usually fly a Cessna 172, G1000, in MSFS.

Out of curiosity though, in real life, how often would a small GA plane like a Cessna 172 take off from runway 08 or 26?  Because those are the two big runways, usually for airliners, in real life (at least when I land at CYVR in an airliner).

Does CYVR make smaller GA planes like the Cessna 172, take off from runway 13/31 instead? Or do small plane like the Cessna 172 take off from 08 and 26 sometimes in real life?

Hi, Richard.

GA aircraft normally take off and land on 08R or 26L. Runway 13 is almost never used - only when the winds make it a must. Here's a snippet from the noise abatement procedures chart part I:

Thanks!  I didn't know that Runway 13 and 31 were rarely used.  I will practice more for Runway 08 and 26 in VATSIM then :)
