Does anyone have or know of someone who has a UniATIS Admin endorsement from UniATIS as per - http://www.uniatis.net/index.php

They haven't responded to me either.   Need someone to develop a new uniatis I would suggest.

How long have you waited?  Did youn try on the VATSIM Forum?

Emailed them only last week.  Saw some chatter on the Vatsim forum about same issue.

Mark, Good point on the phraseology.

Just hope he's right, haven't read the Manops on it  ;D

At least this would provide both the pilot and the FNO entity a reference point. "ZEG001 Hold at XYZ monitor BOS_CTR 123.5 - Good Day"

A real-life pilot had provided this phraseology to us:

ACA123 CLEARED TO THE BAFDY INTERSECTION HOLD AS DEPICTED, MAINTAIN 12,000. HALIFAX ALTIMETER XXXX, EXPECT FURTHER CLEARANCE (INSERT TIME IN ZULU OR GIVE TIME IN MINUTES).

or (If above FL180)

ACA123 CLEARED TO THE BAFDY INTERSECTION HOLD AS DEPICTED, MAINTAIN FL350, EXPECT FURTHER CLEARANCE (INSERT TIME IN ZULU OR GIVE TIME IN MINUTES).

Of course, if it is not a standard hold, will have to modify your phraseology to suit your needs.

I have vSMR installed and have used it but it is rather slow and awkward.  I think Topsky uses the tags but not sure.  Apparently its much easier.  Anthony B got it working today (at least to some degree).

Excellent.  Think they are all slow due to the hoppie network it uses.

With the release of the new FSL A321 I see a lot of discussion on some forums requesting CPDLC.  The native Hoppie client works but its very slow and awkward to use.

I have installed TopSky into Euroscope which supposedly allows you to use CPDLC right from the tag but have no idea if it works with Canscope or how to properly set it up.

Just a question for others, do you know if this works?  If not is it possible to make modifications so it will work?

You can also try this one Mark.  We did some testing in Moncton but have to do some more yet to see if it's feasible.

Here is a photo by one of our members captured between Moncton and Boston. This shows the contrail of a jet approaching Boston Center airspace and Boston refused the handoff so they had to follow the Maine/NB border until Boston accepted. They then were able to turn back on course.

General Discussion / Re: Oceanic Clearance With No Oceanic Controller
« on: October 16, 2019, 05:46:24 PM »
While you don't have to request Oceanic Clearance when oceanic is not online (who you gonna request it from eh?).   However, we in Moncton CZQM-CZQX will provide the oceanic clearance as a courtesy if oceanic is not on.
